Last EVER assignment for third year has been submitted! Semester 3 and the last project was about the consumption of luxury goods in British Vogue which also focused on how to write a report academically. I’m looking forward to the Summer, exploring America a little bit more and visiting Paris again. Also days out, events and spending time with family.
It’s strange how fast a year goes, however I’ve learned and achieved so much at university. Expanding my knowledge and gaining skills that will hopefully assist me in the future. For semester 2 I was involved in an internship in Stellar Aberdeen which I’ve spoken about in a previous post then semester 3 was the last report I completed. Universities seem to absolutely cram the harder subjects at the beginning so the first semester was very stressful. I studied Financial Merchandising for Fashion along with three other modules (I thought I left Maths in 5th year)! I am very grateful I passed this module which can only be down to determination, which involved reports after reports, financial 6 month plans, weekly sales, stock and intake documents and forecasting sales for a company. The Events Management module involved creating a hypothetical event in a group; Fashion Branding module (my favourite) I learnt all aspects of creating a brand which was very engaging and interesting. Ethics and the Consumer module was the first uni essay I had to write, which was awful and not the easiest subject to express in an essay. However I did pass all these modules and I believe uni has pushed me to excel in all my abilities and has definitely challenged me.
Looking forward to 4th year in September!
