Its 2018! I hope everyone had an amazing new year, and hope this year brings you all happiness and gets you a little further to where you want to be in life. I turned 21 early January and wanted to show my simplistic outfit. Inspiration for 21st birthdays often made me think about girls wearing full length dresses, however I wanted to do something different since my birthday celebration was through the day and night. So, I tried to piece together an outfit in December and this proved not easy, however I managed to come up with something. An abundance of deliveries and returns later and I finally decided on an outfit. Black frill skirt with black bodysuit, keeping it simple I knew silver jewellery and heeled shoes would complete the look. Nude perspex strapped barely - there sandals, these shoes are SO amazing from House of CB due to the nude and transparent contrast.  Hugo Boss camel coat draped over my shoulders and mini pale blue Prada bag which I clasped in my hand were a perfect combination.

 The day before my birthday celebration I went to Afternoon Tea with my mum. It was really special, because I’m obsessed with Moulin Rouge she asked the restaurant to play Elton John, Your Song (which I had no idea prior) and added little touches to that day that will always be remembered. Also, cannot WAIT to go to Paris again to see a Moulin Rouge show, it is a beautiful city and I constantly tell people Paris is what you think it is and more.

Becoming 21 has made me realise that your parents are really the ones that help you grow into the person you are, whether it be, teaching valuable lessons or even how to hold a knife and fork. When you're young and taught valuable lessons this encourages growth into an individual that recognises their own worth and doesn’t settle for anything less than how your parents treat you.
