I adore Black textures so I thought I’d do a little blog post on them. The first pair of barely there sandals I saw were leather strapped YSL’s, to me they looked so feminine and elegant I NEEDED a pair. I kept the picture for years and searched for sandals with the same structure. I used the lacey black bunny ears as part of a halloween outfit with the fluffy barely there sandals. Like the bunny ears, an item is structured to their shape but the textures make them come alive and gives us the style element. I bought the sandals a few years ago however timeless shoes remain classic therefore I can wear them and still feel relevant. In the eyes of Vivienne Westwood she believed that ‘buy less choose well’ should be emphasised to individuals when buying items. Classic pieces can pull a full outfit together rather than maybe having tons of clothes but not knowing which items fit together. Fur and fluffy items still remain in Celine collections with sensual lace strewn on models in Alberta Ferretti.
